Workshop with Rosie Batty – Sharing & celebrating “The Casino Way”

A free two day workshop on 20th and 21st of August 2017 sharing and workshopping processes including tools for building strong, positive and respectful cultures across our schools and community. Guest speaker and motivator for change… Rosie Batty, former Australian of the Year and tireless advocate for Preventing Family Violence.

  • Sunday, 20 August: 8.45am for a 9am start until 3.45pm
  • Monday, 21 August: 8.45am for a 9am start until 11.30am

OR

  • Monday, 21 August: 12.15pm for a 12.30pm start until 3pm

Organisers believe that violence against women and girls is preventable and are inviting you to join Casino Primary Schools and Rosie Batty to lead the way in supporting the co-creation of respectful and equal communities for our children and young people. ‘The Casino Way’ is delivered through the daily teaching and modelling of respectful and healthy relationships across the school community. Everyone is welcome and invited, from primary schools and high schools from our Northern Rivers community to our local Government and non-government organisations and partners, friends and colleagues to join us.
