Membership is open to all permanent residents of the region free of charge. You simply need to complete the 'Borrower Registration Form' listed at the end of this page and return to the Library, providing current official identification with your name and address. A parent / guardian is required to sign on behalf of patrons under 16 years of age.
A membership card is given to each borrower on joining. This card must be presented for each transaction and can be used at any branch within the region.
For those who are residing or taking holidays in the area for a short time, temporary membership is available for the duration of your stay. If you have your home library borrower card with you please bring it in when you come to join the library.
An on line public access computer catalogue of the Library's stock is available at Casino, Kyogle and Evans Head. The loan period is 21 days. A total of 15 items may be issued to each card.
Items can be renewed by telephone, in person or online via the Search the Catalogue link. Items will be renewed provided they are not overdue or on reserve. Renewals are for 21 days.
Overdue items incur overdue charges. Fines are calculated at 10 cents per day per item. Any library material lost or damaged must be paid for by the borrower.
