When was Richmond Valley Council formed?

Richmond Valley Council was formed in February 2000 following the amalgamation of the former Richmond River Shire and Casino Councils.

Council elections were held in September 2008 and will be held again September 2012.

Accounts and rates can be paid at the Casino and Evans Head Administration Offices, or pay online using Australia Post's online payment facility.

Where are the Council Chambers and when are meetings held?

The Council Chambers are at the corner of Walker Street and Graham Place, Casino. The entrance is in Graham Place. Council meetings are held generally on the third Tuesday of each month at 4.30pm. Members of the public are welcome.

The Mayor's office is in the Casino Administration Building.
