Casino, Coraki singled out for special program

Casino and Coraki have been selected as part of a new program to help their small businesses take advantage of the NBN roll out, and the business and economic opportunity which improved connectivity brings. It’s called the Future Towns Program, and is being run by the NSW Department of Industry. Only 20 towns are involved. The program also recognises how the quality of NSW regional main streets is critical to attracting and retaining skilled and talented people, to promoting business development and entrepreneurship, and attracting new small businesses to the community. The fund is designed to improve the activation of key spaces and main streets of participating regional towns. All workshops are free and all business owners and operators from the Richmond Valley are invited to attend. To register, please contact Cherie Holdsworth on 6660  0232, 0417 738 961, or cherie.holdsworth@richmondvalley.nsw.gov.au
