The Richmond Valley and the adjacent Upper Clarence region provide hundreds of kilometres of bush tracks for the 4WD enthusiasts. There are numerous private operators in the Bonalbo and Upper Clarence region offering tracks of all grades. The area is surrounded by numerous National Parks both forested and coastal and other forestry reserves which offer many picnic spots, barbecue areas and often a swimming hole or waterfall. The Bundjalung and Broadwater National Parks offer beach access for those looking to do a spot of fishing along the beach.
