Locality Plans 2008

The Richmond Valley Local Government Area has been divided into the six localities of Casino, Coraki, Evans Head, Woodburn, Broadwater-Riley’s Hill and Rural (North, East, and West).

Locality Plans were first prepared in 2006 for each of the localities, and were reviewed in 2008.

The Plans provide information regarding council activities within each of the localities including Council planning, future projects and expenditure, service levels and community profiles. The Locality Plans are a snapshot of each of the localities and are highly useful documents that provide background information for prospective future residents of the Council area and for current residents seeking to keep up to date with Council projects and activities within their community.

On 21 October 2008 Council adopted the revised Locality Plans which were originally adopted by Council in May 2006.

The 2008 Locality Plans may be viewed at Council’s offices, at:

  • Evans Head from 9.00 am to 12.00 pm and 1.00 pm to 4.00 pm Monday to Thursday (public holidays excepted)
  • Casino from 8.15 am to 4.30 pm Monday to Friday
  • Or as a download from the bottom of this page.

Likewise, the 2006 Locality Plans are still available to be downloaded from this web page.
